Cats and Dogs

Wellness Services

MBM Wellness Services will begin on May 19th.

The team at MBM Clinic has a mission to end pet overpopulation and to provide much-needed, affordable veterinary care in order to support pet owners in their efforts to care for dogs and cats.

Wellness Days are Thursdays and Fridays 9:00am — 4:00pm

Wellness Days include walk-in services for reduced-cost vaccines with our Licensed Veterinary Technician as well as scheduled appointments with our veterinarian for routine physicals, minor illnesses and general care.

We carry flea/tick preventative, heartworm preventative, dewormer, joint supplements, and more to help you provide affordable, basic, veterinary care for your pet!

* Please note that by law, prescription medications can not be dispensed without an established relationship between our veterinarians and your pet. This means your pet needs a recent exam to receive some medications.

Due to the constraints of our spay/neuter clinic and the lack of radiography (X-ray) equipment, as well as not being able to hospitalize patients, we will NOT be able to see or help with the following:

* This list is NOT all-inclusive as we cannot predict every concern a pet owner may have

  • Orthopedic issues

  • Coughing (this is usually infectious or needs radiographs)

  • Open mouth breathing

  • Known ingestion of foreign body objects

  • Sudden collapse

  • Seizures

  • Known diabetic patients with concerns related to diabetes

  • Lumps and bumps except cats with abscesses

  • Convenience or behavioral euthanasia

  • Other concerns best addressed at a full-service veterinary clinic

MBM Spay/Neuter Clinic Wellness Services offers TWO options:

Licensed Veterinary Technician Visits: Services offered during Vet Tech visits do not require an exam fee or appointment. This is a walk-in service similar to our former vaccine clinics.

  • Vaccines

  • Deworming

  • Nail Trims

  • Anal Gland Expression

  • Ear Care (plucking and cleaning)

  • Microchipping

  • Laboratory Bloodwork (basic pre-surgical panels and comprehensive panels)

  • Testing (heartworm & tick-borne diseases, fecal, feline leukemia & FIV)

Veterinarian Appointments: Services offered during an appointment with our veterinarian require a scheduled appointment and will be charged a small exam fee. * See "Wellness Appointment Types" below to help choose what type of appointment you want to schedule with our veterinarian.
